How to: Light and Design Meet:
A carved sign is an impressive illuminated signage model created by engraving (hollowing out) the text and logo sections on aluminum composite or aluminum sheets using special techniques, and placing light-transmitting plexiglass materials into these cavities. Compared to channel letter signs, it is more economical because it uses less plexiglass material and saves on letter bending labor and materials. The key difference in the lighting system is that LED light sources are positioned at least 8 cm behind the surface to ensure uniform light distribution and prevent shadow formation.
Our Expertise in the Production Process:
- Floor Selection and Preparation: Aluminum composite panels are frequently preferred as floor materials due to their lightness, ease of processing and economic advantages.
- Precision CNC Engraving: First, bending (groove) channels are opened for the logo and text. Then, using a CNC machine, the logo and text areas are precisely carved out.
- Plexiglass Installation: Light-transmitting plexiglass sheets are carefully mounted behind the carved cavities using silicone and double-sided tape.
- LED Lighting System: Next-generation outdoor module LEDs are meticulously laid out on the back of the sign (typically on a foam board or corrugated base), and the electrical wiring is professionally connected.
